Copper slipped on Wednesday after US President-elect Donald Trump gave little guidance on new infrastructure spending at a press conference in New York, disappointing some who had hoped for a clearer view on policy. Zinc and nickel also fell, but aluminium rose.

The struggling baby formula supplier Bellamy's Australia is facing renewed calls from dissident shareholder Jan Cameron to spill its board after it replaced chief executive Laura Bain and revealed the significant impact lower-than-expected sales in China will have on its earnings.
