Aust shares snap four day losing streak
The Australian share market has snapped a four day losing streak after easing investor concerns about China's property sector prompted a jump in local mining stocks.
The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index on Friday closed 61.1 points, or 0.83 per cent higher, at 7443 points.
The All Ordinaries climbed 64.6 points, or 0.84 per cent, to close at 7765.8 points.
All sectors bar healthcare ended higher, with materials, energy and consumer staples leading the march.
The Australian dollar was buying 73.86 US cents at 1615 AEDT, easing from 73.11 US cents at Thursday's close.
