Malabar Coal

Malabar Coal (MBC) is seeking to develop a longwall coal mine. Malabar Coal currently has a 27.7% interest in the Spur Hill Underground Coal Project and has the right to increase its interest up to 80%.

Spur Hill is a soft coking coal, semi-soft coking coal and thermal coal development project in the Upper Hunter Valley region of NSW. The Project has a total JORC Resource of 586MT (100% project basis) including 117Mt Indicated and 372Mt Inferred.

Expected date for quotation of MBC shares on ASX is 28 March 2013.
