High Conviction Stocks for 2015

Our analysts' 2014 key stock picks significantly outperformed the broader market during the year. The video below profiles several of our analysts' key picks for 2015:

Morgans High Conviction Stocks: 2014 performance

Our large cap (ASX100) stock picks generated an average total shareholder return of 10% from positions 'sold' from the list over an average period of less than six months. This comfortably exceeded the market return of 5% over a 12 month time frame which makes the annualised returns far more impressive.

The mid-caps (Ex-ASX100) list generated an average total shareholder return of 8% over an average period of less than 4 months on the list. This comfortably exceeded the return of the Small Ordinaries Index (XSO) which actually fell in value by 7% during 2014 and is currently close to 12-month lows.

This demonstrates that strong performance is still achievable in flat or choppy markets.
