Asia remains the highest investment growth region in the world. It is critical investors closely monitor both the negative escalating brinkmanship on the Korean Peninsula and the significant positive macroeconomic and demographic tailwinds of the region.
Dr Mary Manning has been investing in Asia since 2001. Prior to Ellerston, Mary worked at Oaktree capital where she was responsible for financial sector investments for the firms Global Emerging Markets Hedge Fund. Mary also worked as an investment analyst at Soros Fund Management in New York, the investment vehicle of George Soros. Mary has a PhD in Economics from the University of Sydney and MBA from Harvard Business School.
