"The vaccine development market is important if merely from a sentiment point of view. It will influence the global markets outlook and breathe confidence into what people are calling the “re-opening trade” in the path of normalisation on strengthening economic activity.

So clearly we see it as a catalyst for cyclical value and the beaten up COVID-19 names. However, any stumbles on the vaccine front would be a double-edged sword, likely to see a push for recovery expectations moved out and leading to earnings downgrades across the market.”
