In the latest 40 under 40 series podcast, I chatted with Matt Heine, Joint Managing Director of Netwealth Group (ASX: NWL). Matt describes Netwealth's journey from a startup to an ASX-listed company and how they've managed to scale:
"Netwealth's been going for around 17 years and we are a platform provider to the wealth management industry. What a platform does for those that don't know is it's a single account where you can buy, hold, administer and monitor your investments. Whether you want to buy international equities, direct equities, managed funds, cash term deposits - it's a really easy and convenient way to basically make those investments but more importantly then understand what you hold in your portfolio, report against it from a performance and tax perspective and make sure you're making the right decisions".
Matt also touches on the utilisation of technology, the changing landscape of super and offers some inspiring words for entrepreneurs and business leaders.
