About Morgans Tynan Partners

Tynan Partners operates as a branch of Morgans. This relationship provides us with the benefits of scale and research capabilities of a large firm, while allowing us to operate in a boutique environment offering personal client relationships.

The Tynan family has 65 years of history in providing investment advice, dating back to 1954, when John Tynan was elected as a Member of the Brisbane Stock Exchange.

Today, John’s three sons, Paul, Michael and Chris Tynan are principals at Tynan Partners along with three of his grandsons, Max, Mike & Alex. Together they are continuing the family legacy of providing sound and ethical financial advice.

The other principals, Andrew Fleming, Ray Walter and Michael Borjesson, are highly qualified and experienced professionals in the financial services industry. Their particular focus has been on managing discretionary accounts for private clients and not-for-profit organisations and providing financial planning for retirees and for those clients who are nearing retirement.
